Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB) will create a separate asset management division led by Béatrice Sidler, currently head of segments, sales and channels at Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB).

The asset management unit, which will launch on October 1, will target wealthy clients with investable assets of CHF 1 million or more. This new department combines the two advisory units, previously called managers and entrepreneurs, and the investment center, which in the future will be called sustainable asset management.

The asset management division will become one of the bank’s five departments. The others are private wealth and wealth advice, corporate client advice, finance and risk management, and technology and business services.
