Lennox Lewis Boxing Competition Series with 3Point0 Labs/The Whole Spiel

Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis steps into a new ring: Unscripted TV. Lennox and executive producer Eric Van Wageen are developing a boxing-related competition that “aims to bring boxing back to its roots, highlighting fighters from across the country in a tournament-style format.”

The unscripted project is the first to emerge from a new strategic partnership announced by Paul Telegdy’s The Whole Spiel Shingle and management house 3Point0 Labs, led by Marquel Martin. “Lennox Lewis is a titan of the boxing world,” said Telegdy. “We couldn’t be more excited to be doing business with him and to have him at the helm of our first project.”

Lewis competed on ‘The Apprentice’ in 2008, where Van Wahaken was an EP. Van Wageen’s TV boxing credits also include “The Contender.”

With their alliance, The Whole Spiel and 3Point0 aim to focus on the sports space as they package and develop a range of TV, film and podcasts.

Telegdy runs The Whole Spiel with Stefan Telegdy. Based in Los Angeles and Berlin, the company is developing scripted and unscripted television projects, including a reimagined “Tarzan” series with Red Bull’s Terra Mater Studios, wildlife crime investigation “Rogue,” geopolitical drama “A New King” and true history drama.
