Ola became the first app-based taxi company to launch taxi operations at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya. Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal shared the news in a post on LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).

Aggarwal said the company has installed a dedicated pick-up zone with a team of representatives available 24×7 to assist all travelers for a hassle-free experience. He added that the company is making progress in its mission to serve one billion Indians.

On X he posted another message.

“Ram Nagri Ayodhya is the fastest growing cultural tourism hub in India, welcoming millions of tourists every year. I hope I can make this spiritual journey easier and more accessible for us Indians!” he added.

Ola’s mobility business in India has reported a profit of INR 250 crore in FY 2023, compared to a loss of Rs 66 crore in FY 2022. The company’s revenue rose 58 percent to INR 2,135 crore in FY 2023 from INR 1,350 crore in FY2022.
