‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ Eyes $6M+ Previews

EXCLUSIVE: Sources tell us that 20th Century Studios’ Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is off to a good start with previews around $6.5 million. That consists of Thursday night money that started coming in at 3 p.m., and about $1.6 million from Wednesday fan shows that started at 7 p.m.

We’ll find out tomorrow morning if it’s the best Thursday night ever Apes movie best of 2017 War for the Planet of the Apes which earned $5 million on preview night before a $22.1 million Friday and a $56.2 million opening.
